Guided on the Christian principles on which we were founded, Mary's Kitchen treats everyone with compassion, dignity, and respect. Mary's Kitchen strives to provide support, empower and advocate for the homeless citizens of Orange County.
Our Mission
Operating at the forefront of homelessness in Orange County California, Mary's Kitchen believes in enhancing the quality of life for all who are homeless and not just the few. We see the intrinsic worth in everyone. Providing daily life necessities like food, hygiene products, clothing, mail services and medical resources, individuals are equipped to transform their lives. Supporting their self-sustainability by growing our network of partners that will help build futures. Empower individuals and families through love, compassion, and understanding, then guiding their journey towards productivity. Advocating for those who are neglected is a core value Mary's Kitchen is proud of.

Health and Nutritional Wellness
Mary's Kitchen has partnered with Orange County agencies in an initiative to offer invaluable health care services designed to offer care and prevention. We have joined with Hurtt Clinical, and Wound Walk bringing comprehensive assistance for individuals faced with possible illnesses. This long-standing collaboration includes blood screenings, diabetes, wound checks, free medications (from time to time) including hepatitis B vaccines and more.
Making a Difference
As Mary's Kitchen continues to grow, our approach adapts meeting the needs of a homeless community with limited housing opportunities and hot meal service. Our efforts through one of the worst pandemics of this time has proven there is an incessant need for services we provide. In 2022 Mary's Kitchen faced termination of our city contract, forced to find a new home. Despite this unfortunate circumstance, operations never ceased, standards we stand by never wavered giving us a modeled approach that will guide our future program operations.
